Day 1-3
Today you will be welcomed with broad smiles by a representative from The Booking Company who will assist you with your connection on to your scheduled 30min charter flight from Maun Airport to the magical Xugana Island Lodge...
The open-sided thatched lounge, bar and dining areas are set back under the ebony and African Mangosteen tree canopy. The swimming pool, located within the mature gardens in the centre of the island, is a perfect place to relax.
Xugana Island Lodge’s boma and al fresco dining area overlook the Xugana Lagoon’s expanse of pristine water of this unique delta.
Guests can either explore the delta by motorboat, mokoro, or take leisurely walks on surrounding islands in the concession. This provides the opportunity to experience a classic Okavango Delta safari. Birdwatching opportunities are outstanding, and fishing for bream and tigerfish is offered.
Day 3
You will enjoy your morning activity and breakfast before bidding your new found friends a sad farewell. You will be collected from Xugana Island Lodge airstrip to Maun for your onwards arrangements, taking unforgettable memories of Botswana and it’s amazing people with you that will stay with you forever…
