General description: 
Set in an amphitheatre of Ebony and Sausage Trees on the southern tip of Chief's Island, Stanley's Camp accommodates only sixteen visitors. Stanley's Camp offers some of the best game viewing in the Okavango, including Elephant, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hippo, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and the elusive Wild Dog. A unique Stanley's feature is an educational experience with a group of semi-habituated African Elephants. Spend a day walking with the Elephants and observe them up-close in their natural environment.
Facilities: 
Stanley’s main building is raised on decking and offers spectacular views over the surrounding floodplains. Stanley's Camp is cleverly blended into the existing tree line, its main support being a large sausage tree. Electricity, 240 volts, is supplied by a combination of silent packed generator and battery system allowing 24-hour power supply.
Accommodation: 
Stanley’s is a small luxury camp consisting of eight classic styled safari tents raised on wooden decking. The tents exude ‘classic Africa’ with handcrafted beds, finest linen, antique furniture and oriental carpets. Each tent has en-suite facilities, a private balcony and is equipped with a hairdryer, ceiling fan, and in-room safe.  Hammocks and Morris chairs on the decks are perfect for relaxation during the heat of the African day.
Game viewing and activities: 
Game drives in customized, open 4x4 vehicles - including the thrilling opportunity of night drives - tranquil mokoro canoe excursions and exclusive bush dinners. As Stanley's Camp is in a private concession, guests also have the option of walking safaris with an armed professional guide. Spend a morning with three semi-habituated African elephants on an amazing Elephant Experience. Walk with the elephants, learn about them, and spend time interacting with them in their natural environment.
Children Policy: 
Children under 9 years are not accepted at Stanley’s Camp.
