General description: 
Savute Under Canvas is a private wilderness tented safari camp located near the Savute Marsh, famous for the massive pride of lion that habitually hunts elephant; the camp is only reachable by light aircraft from Kasane and therefore offers some of the most exclusive game drives in the entire Chobe. With the luxury of camping and the relaxing solitude of the wilderness, this encounter will offer guests everlasting memories of an African safari.
Facilities: 
The guest areas comprise comfortable tents for dining, meeting for a pre-dinner drink, or just for relaxing between safaris with a good book and cocktails. Welcoming camp staff, personalized private butler service, delicious Pan African meals and traditional bush dinners served under the stars, complete the luxury of camping in the bush. Savute Under Canvas has 12volt power in vehicles and battery-powered lamps in tents.
Accommodation: 
Designed with the intention of creating some of Africa’s finest luxury camping, each safari tent boasts a double bed, en-suite bathroom with separate toilet and an al-fresco bucket shower with hot water delivered on request.  Each luxury tent has a personal butler service.
Game viewing and activities: 
Activities include twice-daily 4x4 game drives in the Chobe National Park with experienced rangers. The camps move every five or six days, ensuring a unique setting and wildlife experience every week. The Savute area is renowned for its predator interaction, especially between lion and hyena. It offers some of the biggest lion prides in Botswana and sightings of the elusive wild dog and leopard are not uncommon. In the dry season, guests have the opportunity to view large elephant bulls congregating by the waterholes in search of a thirst-quenching drink. Visitors can bear witness to the awe-inspiring spectacle of the annual zebra migration in October, November and again in March and April.
Children Policy: 
Children are welcome; however, Savute Under Canvas is regrettably not suitable for children younger than 12 years. Children under 12 yrs will only be accommodated if full camp is booked
