General description: 
Okuti, newly rebuilt and opened in December 2007, is a luxury camp that has been designed in an african village style. Okuti nestles in the shade of large, beautiful old trees and overlooks the Xakanaxa Lagoon. Luxury accommodation and excellent year round game viewing opportunities are on offer at Okuti. Experience game drives in the Moremi Game Reserve in specially designed safari vehicles, allowing unhindered views for game viewing and photography.
Facilities: 
The main lounge and dining area at Okuti is centred on several huge rondavels, which sit under smooth, rounded bee-hive-style thatched roofs. Furnished in a contemporary style, with smooth wooden floors, comfortable woven seats and various ethnic carvings, the main lounge is spacious and relaxing. Raised walkways link the main lounge and dining areas at Okuti to the accommodation tents. Where the decking veranda extends towards Xakanaxa Lagoon, there is a small plunge-pool. The lodge also has an open-air Boma, ideal for dinners around the campfire. At Okuti, electricity is generated to allow the operation of lighting and other basic facilities in camp. Re-charging of camera/video batteries is possible, arranged by the camp managers, provided guests bring the appropriate adaptors along to suit Botswana 220V power source. An international multi adaptor is recommended. The electricity system does not support the use of hair dryers.
Accommodation: 
Okuti can accommodate a maximum of 18 guests. The tents are luxurious and offer en-suite facilities with hot and cold running water and flush toilets.  Outdoor bush showers are a highlight and the views from the private decks are spectacular. Five of the units are twin share and two are family units, consisting of two rooms sharing a bathroom which is ideal for families.
Game viewing and activities: 
Experience game drives in the Moremi Game Reserve in specially designed safari vehicles. Moremi is a park rich in wildlife and game viewing is consistent year round so it is ideal for the first time visitor to Botswana. In addition to game drives, guests can explore the delta waterways by motorboat. The Okavango Delta is a birders paradise which entertains both the experienced ornithologist as well as the eager amateur. Okuti offers seasonal boat excursions to Gadikwe Heronry.
Children Policy: 
Okuti accepts children from the age of 7 years and older all year round (in low season application can be made for younger children to be accepted) as the nature of the activities are safe for children (game drives and boating only).
