General description: 
Mowana Safari Lodge is built around an 800-year-old baobab tree and situated among lovely private gardens on the banks of the Chobe River, 8 km from the entrance to Chobe National Park. Mowana Safari lodge is a large hotel style lodge, popular with big groups and conferences. 
Facilities: 
Mowana Safari Lodge has an outdoor swimming-pool, set in a natural landscape. The Serondella Restaurant and Savuti Bar have fantastic views overlooking the Chobe River. Mowana’s Serondella Restaurant offers world class cuisine, inspired by the many flavours of Africa. The Boma Terrace is an alternative dining outdoor facility offering a variety of meal options, also offering an ambience which is suitable for theme dinners. Adjacent to the Boma is the Pool Bar which serves daily lunches. Alternative dining venues are available to groups at Mowana’s own African village or on the banks of the river at the riverside boma. A curio shop and a hairdressing salon complete the facilities for guests. Conference facilities are available at Mowana Safari Lodge. Mowana Safari Lodge has continuous 220V AC power. 
Accommodation: 
Mowana boasts 107 luxury rooms and four suites all with full en-suite bathrooms. All rooms are river facing with air-conditioning, mini bars, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fans, satellite television, mosquito nets and electric insect repellents.
Game viewing and activities: 
Mowana offers tennis and golf on the property. Bird watching from the lodge is excellent and guests should see theBroad-tailed Paradise-Whydah, Racket-tailed Roller, Pied, Giant, Malachite, Grey-headed and Half-collared Kingfisher, Senegal Coucal, Trumpeter Hornbill, amongst many other birds. Activities that can be arranged from the lodge are mountain biking, tiger fishing, walking trails, game-river viewing in boats or mokoros, sundowner cruises on a motorised river barge, game viewing in open 4x4 vehicles in Chobe National Park and day trips to Victoria Falls.
Children Policy: 
Mowana Safari Lodge accepts children of all ages. Please note children under the age of 6 years will not be permitted on game activities
