General description: 
Chobe National Park has excellent game viewing both on and beside the Chobe River.  Built along the banks of the Chobe River, and the only permanent game lodge situated within the park boundaries, Chobe Game Lodge is a perfect base to explore the Chobe National Park. The architecture at Chobe Game Lodge is Moorish with high arches, barrel-vault ceilings and tiled floors which create an ambiance of space and tranquility.  Enjoy magnificent wildlife sightings in the Chobe National Park and retire to the comfort of your luxurious lodge.
Facilities: 
Chobe Game Lodge facilities include a riverside boma where traditional dancers perform and a large swimming pool. For guests wanting to keep in touch, broadband internet access is available at the Thwene Bar, a fashionable cigar bar with a champion sized billiard table and outside terrace overlooking the Chobe River.  Chobe Game Lodge also has a wildlife reference library with lounge and terrace. A fully equipped and air conditioned conference room seats a maximum of 100 people, depending on the seating configuration. Meals are catered for at the terrace restaurant overlooking the Chobe River or at the riverside boma (weather dependant). An in-house beautician and gym are available for guests wanting a massage or a private workout. Chobe Game Lodge has continuous 220V AC power.
Accommodation: 
Chobe Game Lodge has 47 river facing rooms.  Each room has its own private terrace and is fully air-conditioned, with an en-suite bathroom and complimentary mini-bar. There are tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryers in the rooms. Chobe Game Lodge also has four luxury suites, each with a private swimming pool set on a secluded terrace with breathtaking panoramic views of the Chobe River and Caprivi floodplains.
Game viewing and activities: 
A choice of land and water based activities are offered at Chobe Game Lodge. Game drives in open-air 4x4 safari vehicles are a great way of spotting lion, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, puku, red lechwe, sable and roan antelope. For the ultimate Chobe experience, set out on a sunset cruise down the Chobe River and enjoy spectacular views of wildlife that congregate at the waters edge with an amazing African sunset as a backdrop. Game viewing on the Chobe River is conducted by small, shallow draft and highly maneuverable boats piloted by expert boatmen. The Mosi-oa-Tunya, a double-decker river cruiser with onboard bar and snacks is a popular way to view wildlife. Resident professional guides and environmentalist offer star gazing presentations on the stargazing deck.
Children Policy: 
Chobe Game Lodge accepts children of all ages. Children aged 16 years (inclusive) and younger to share with a parent at all times. There are no child care / babysitting facilities or services offered at Chobe Game Lodge. Private Activities have to be booked for families with children younger than 6 years old at an additional rate and subject to availability. No child-share allowed in the Chobe Game Lodge suites.
