General description: 
Located on the picturesque Xakanaxa Lagoon, Camp Moremi is an authentic safari camp combining warm African hospitality with superb game viewing. The Moremi Game Reserve is renowned as one of the best game viewing destinations in Botswana. Camp Moremi has frequent sightings of lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, hyena, zebra, kudu, red lechwe, sable and roan antelope and many more.
Facilities: 
The elevated Moremi Tree Lodge is the focal point of the lodge and houses the luxurious main lounge, a wildlife reference library, dining room and cocktail bar.  A large sun deck affords an unsurpassed view of Xakanaxa Lagoon. Camp Moremi has a swimming pool and elevated observation platform. In the center of the lodge garden is an expansive boma area from which guests enjoy meals and refreshments. Generator power (AC 220V) is available during the day and evening. Tents are equipped with a 220-volt AC plug for hairdryers and invert 12-volt DC lighting to be used at night once the generator has been switched off.
Accommodation: 
Camp Moremi accommodates 22 guests in East African-style safari tents, individually situated on raised teak platforms. Each guest unit has its own private bathroom situated adjacent to the tent and located on a raised platform.  Each tent is furnished with a Rhodesian Teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director’s chairs. Colourful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete the elegant tents. His and hers towel robes as well as tea and coffee making facilities are also provided in the tents.
Game viewing and activities: 
Track big game on morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles.  Moremi Game Reserve boasts the most diverse habitat and animal populations in Botswana, with possible sightings of Wild Dog, Cheetah and Leopard. Resident species include Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo, Giraffe, Hyena, Zebra, Kudu, Lechwe, Sable and Roan Antelope. Explore the Okavango Delta channels by powerboat while spotting water birds and shy forest dwellers. Birding is spectacular, especially during spring and summer.  Huge numbers of breeding storks and herons are attracted to the world-famous heronries, Gadikwe and Xakanaxa lagoons, which are accessible by powerboat from Camp Moremi.
Children Policy: 
No children under 12 years are accepted at Camp Moremi. There are no child care / babysitting facilities or services offered at Camp Moremi. Children aged 16 years (inclusive) and younger to share with a parent at all times. Children must be under the care of their parents at all times.
