Day 1 & 2
On arrival into Maun Airport you will be met by a representative from The Booking Company who will welcome you and assist you with your connection onto the light aircraft for your flight to Little Vumbura Camp, where you will stay for 2 nights.
 
Little Vumbura is situated on a wooded island in the same region as its sister camp, Vumbura Plains. Designed to blend in with its surroundings, the camp is a beautiful six bedroomed tented camp shaded by the canopy of an ancient Okavango forest. Each tent is ensuite, large and roomy with an open-air shower and views of the surroundings. A plunge pool and reading area overlooks the floodplains and a star deck leads off the dining area.

Surrounded as it is by water and lying close to large rivers, water-based activities are a focus with Mokoro traversing the floodplains under the guidance of experienced polers, and motor boats the permanent channels.
Wildlife viewing and birding is consistently good all year round. Game drives in open Land Rovers explore the savannah areas. Walks (on request) around the island are an opportunity to enjoy Africa from a different perspective.
 
Day 3 & 4
After your early morning activity and breakfast, time permitting, you will connect on to a light aircraft for your flight to Chitabe Camp, where you will stay for 2 nights.
 
Chitabe Camp is built on one of the most beautiful islands in the Okavango Delta, in a private concession bordered on three sides by the Moremi Game Reserve. Eight spacious East African style tents are built on elevated wooden decks, beneath a lush tree canopy. Each tented room has en-suite facilities with flush toilets and both outdoor and indoor showers.
 
The Central part of the camp is made up of a thatched dining area and lounge leading on to open decking, all built on raised decks to provide superb views across a floodplain. There is a pool that provides cool sanctuary in the heat of the day.
Activities on offer at Chitabe Camp are game drives in open 4x4 vehicles during the day and at night accompanied by an experienced guide, as well as nature walks. Chitabe is strictly a game viewing area - so no water activities are offered here. Wild dogs are among the major attractions of this area and a long-standing program to study the Wild Dogs is based nearby Chitabe Camp. Game viewing is excellent, you will see Buffalo, Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Reedbuck, Lechwe, Impala, Zebra and Hippo.
 
Day 5
After an early morning activity and breakfast, you will connect with light aircraft back to Maun International Airport in time for your onward connection.
