Day 1 - 5
Today you will depart from Maun Airport by road for a leisurely sightseeing journey of around three hours to Moremi Game Reserve’s Xakanaxa Campsite. Here you will enjoy a four night stay in a luxury mobile camp changing location on day 3. The Safari is conducted by an experienced and professional guide.
Moremi Game Reserve is situated in the eastern part of the Okavango Delta, and borders the south-western section of Chobe National Park. Moremi Game Reserve covers almost one third of the Okavango Delta, and is home to a vast variety of mammal, bird, insect, plant, fish and reptile species, all of which have adapted to the swamp conditions. A true wilderness paradise, Moremi Game Reserve offers unparalleled game viewing throughout the year.
 
Day 5 - 6
Early in the morning your guide will transfer you to Xakanaxa Airstrip where you will take a light aircraft charter for a scenic 80-minute flight across the Kalahari Desert. Landing on Kalahari Plains airstrip ,you will be met by your guide who will transfer you to Kalahari Plains Camp for a one night stay.
 
Kalahari Plains Camp is situated in a remote part of the diverse and productive Central Kalahari Game Reserve and offers some of the best summer wildlife viewing opportunities in Africa. Located in the Kalahari Desert biome in central Botswana, the reserve is the largest conservation area in the country.
The camp is situated on an immense pan just 20 km from Deception Valley and comprises 10 en-suite canvas units with a ‘sleep-out’ above each one from which you can enjoy the night skies. The main area features a lounge, dining area and central bar alongside a separate swimming pool and deck area. The tents and main area are raised off the ground to catch the breeze and to maximise the sweeping, spacious views across the Kalahari Desert.
 
Day 6 - 9
After you early breakfast, time permitting, you will be collected by your guide to continue your luxury mobile camping safari with three nights in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.
 
The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is larger than Denmark and at approximately 52,800 sq kilometres, or 12 million acres, is the second largest game reserve in the world. The Central Kalahari Game Reserve was created in 1961 and is an arid yet stunning vista of open plains, saltpans and ancient riverbeds.
 
Day 9 - 11
After an early morning game drive, you will be transferred to Kalahari Plains Airstrip where you will embark upon a further light aircraft charter for a scenic 80-minute flight to Xigera Airstrip. From the airstrip you will be met by your guide and transferred to Xigera Camp for a two nights.
 
Located in a magnificent riverine forest, Xigera Camp consists of ten luxuriously furnished tented rooms with en-suite facilities and an outdoor shower. Each room is on a raised wooden deck and enjoys a superb view of the seasonal floodplain and waterhole.
Wooden walkways wind through the forest and connect the rooms to the main living area where the thatched lounge, bar and dining area overlook a permanent channel, and a traditional African boma offers alternative dining facilities under the stars.
 
A feature unique to Xigera Camp is the wooden footbridge which connects Xigera Island with its neighbouring island. Guests are treated to superb views of lion, hyaena or leopard padding across the bridge as they move between the islands.
 
Day 11
Early this morning, and after your morning activity and breakfast, time permitting, you will be transferred to Xigera Airstrip where you will connect on to a light charter aircraft flight across the Okavango Delta to Maun Airport for your onward connection.
