Kalahari & Delta Experience - TBCW-023

Day 1 & 2
On arrival into Maun Airport you will be met by a representative from The Booking Company who will welcome you and assist you with your connection onto the light aircraft for your flight to Tau Pan, where you will stay for 2 nights.
After the summer rains, the Central Kalahari Game Reserve completely transforms as the blue sky fills with huge clouds, and the plains and pans burst with sweet grasses. This is one of the best game viewing areas in Botswana at this time of the year and not many people to seem to aware of this so visitors are few.
Tau Pan is the first semi-permanent camp inside the Central Kalahari Game Reserve overlooking a permanent watering hole with spectacular scenery views. The Reserve is famous for its breath-taking night skies and amazing scenery and cloud formations. The camp can accommodate only 16 guests in 8 environmentally adapted en-suite rooms and one of the rooms is a family room. The entire camp is 100% solar operated.
 
Activities at Tau Pan are conducted by a professional guide accompanied by a tracker making it easier for tracking and spotting game. Activities on offer are morning and afternoon game drives, star gazing and nature walks.
 
Day 3 & 4
After an early morning activity and breakfast, you will connect with light aircraft for your flight to Kwara Camp, where you will stay for 2 nights.
 
Kwara Camp is located on the northern edge of the permanent water of the Okavango Delta in a private concession. Kwara has a combination of permanent water, seasonal flood plains and pans, open grasslands as well as extensive dry bush and scrub.
 
The 8 tents are set under a shady treed island overlooking a lagoon. The area surrounding the camp is a mosaic of islands, lagoons, channels and grasslands. The camp has elevated tents with views over the surrounding areas. Each of the tents has an en suite bathroom, double basin and a unique inside/outside shower as well as a viewing deck.

Kwara is renowned for being a camp that offers a year round Okavango Delta experience with game drives both off road and at night. The range of activities on offer includes Mokoro trails (dug-out canoes), double deck power boat, fishing, bush walks with armed guides and trackers.
Kwara also offers boat transfers through the Okavango Delta to some water based camps in the Delta and Moremi Wildlife Reserve.
 
Your stay at Kwara Camp is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, all local brand drinks, scheduled game-viewing activities and laundry service.
 
Day 5 & 6
After an early morning activity and breakfast, you will connect with light aircraft to Lagoon Camp, where you will stay for 2 nights.
 
Lagoon Camp is set on the banks of a perennial lagoon of the Kwando River, under large shady trees. The small size of the camp and its setting makes the Lagoon experience personal and intimate.
 
Lagoon Camp comprises of 6 classic Meru type tents. Tents have a spacious bedroom area with deck and view of the lagoon. There are his and hers basin, flush toilet and outside shower with hot and cold running water. The camp has a plunge pool, lounge, bar, gift shop and dining room with a shady area overlooking both the lagoon and a favoured spot where elephants come to drink.
The camp offers open 4x4 vehicle game drives both off road and at night, walks (subject to guides discretion), fishing and a double deck boat cruise on the permanent river.
 
Day 7
Today after your morning activity and light breakfast, time permitting, you will connect on to a light charter flight to Maun where you will continue with the rest of your travel plans.
