Day 1-3
On your arrival into Maun Airport, you will be met and welcomed by a representative from The Booking Company who will assist with your connection on to a light charter flight for a transfer to Leroo La Tau where you will stay for 2 nights at Leroo La Tau Lodge.
 
The park, populated by up to 30,000 zebra and wildebeest closely accompanied by predators, offers guests the chance to experience the exhilaration of seeing large concentrations of game and the resultant predator interaction. The lodge offers a raised hide above the river where guests can enjoy the spectacular wildlife sightings that we’ve come to expect in this part of Botswana.
With just 12 thatched chalets, each with en-suite bathrooms, a dining room, reading room and bar in the main lodge, expansive wooden decks and a plunge pool, guests can immerse themselves seamlessly into the ultimate wildlife experience in Botswana.
 
Having explored the area and enjoyed a spectacular wildlife phenomenon on guided day and night game drives, guests can retire after dinner to a splendid fireplace overlooking the river.
 
Day 3-5
Early this morning after your morning activity and light breakfast, time permitting, you will take a short drive to Leroo La Tau airstrip where you will connect on to a light charter aircraft to transfer you to Xugana Island Lodge for a 2 night stay.
 
The open-sided thatched lounge, bar and dining areas are set back under the ebony and African Mangosteen tree canopy. The swimming pool, located within the mature gardens in the centre of the island, is a perfect place to relax.
 
Xugana Island Lodge’s boma and al fresco dining area overlook the Xugana Lagoon’s expanse of pristine water of this unique delta.
 
Guests can either explore the delta by motorboat, mokoro, or take leisurely walks on surrounding islands in the concession. This provides the opportunity to experience a classic Okavango Delta safari. Bird watching opportunities are outstanding, and fishing for bream and tigerfish is offered.
 
Day 5-7
After your inspiring stay at Xugana Island Lodge, today after your light breakfast and morning activity, time permitting, you will be transferred to Xugana airstrip for your connection on to a light charter aircraft for a transfer to Savute Safari Lodge for your 2 night stay.
 
The area is renowned for its population of bull elephant and for the unique interaction of the resident predator species. The close proximity of wildlife translates itself into the recently refurbished, modern African décor.
All suites have private decks, combined bedroom and sitting areas and en-suite facilities. The sitting area, library and cocktail bar are situated in an exquisite thatch and timber main building.
 
Savute boasts a viewing deck, an al fresco dining area and swimming pool – which is ideal for watching game at the waterhole. These features set the lodge apart from other typical safari destinations.
 
Open 4x4 game drives are conducted in the Savute area, including the famous Savute Marsh, and the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills, add magic to a delightful African safari.
 
Day 7-9
A transfer this morning after your breakfast and morning activity will take to Savute airstrip where you will get on to a light charter flight for a transfer to Kasane Airport where you will be met and welcomed to the mighty Chobe. From Kasane Airport, you will enjoy a leisurely road transfer to the Victoria Falls town where you will stay for 2 nights at the legendary “Grand old lady of the Victoria Falls” – Victoria Falls Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis only. Victoria Falls Hotel is ideally situated a stone throw away from the Victoria Falls.
 
The Edwardian-style five-star hotel, built in 1904, was recently redecorated and refurbished and now combines the charm of the old with the convenience of the new. Set in lush tropical gardens with lily ponds, palm trees and semi-tropical shrubs, it provides the tranquillity and seclusion that many guests seek. The famous Victoria Falls are just a ten-minute walk away using the hotel’s private pathway, and “the smoke that thunders” or “Mosi-O-Tunya” in the local dialect, is clearly audible and visible from this luxurious landmark.
 
World-class service, food and beverage choice and preparation second to none, make the hotel a magnet for international visitors and locals alike. The opulent Livingstone Room for fine dining and dancing, the Jungle Junction with its famous breakfast and dinner buffets and ethnic entertainment in the evenings, offer variety and wide choice. It has 161 rooms comprising 37 standard rooms, 58 traditional rooms, 48 deluxe rooms, 7 junior suites, 4 honeymoon suites, 6 executive suites and the Royal Suite. The latter, as the name suggests, has seen reigning monarchs, presidents and, more recently, many famous Hollywood stars among its privileged occupants. The corridors reflect and tell the history of this unique part of Africa, with particular reference to the building of the railway from Cape Town to what is now Zambia. It is very much part of the unrealised “Cape to Cairo” dream of Cecil John Rhodes.
 
Day 9
This morning after your breakfast, you will check out of Victoria Falls Hotel and be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your onward connections.
